Happy February! January was a long, cold and snowy month and its looking like February will be just as cold and snowy! We will be talking even more about dinosaurs this month reading stories, learning the different names, pretending to be paleontologist, and so much more.
We will also be celebrating Valentine’s day on Wednesday, February 14. I sent a note home about the party last week that had the class list. If you would like to send anything in for the party please let me know and you can bring it in the day of or day before. You can also send in your child’s valentines anytime before the party. Don’t forget to send your child to school in outerwear appropriate for the weather. If it is warm enough ( above 32 with the windchill) we will be going outside to play. If your child isn’t feeling well please keep them home. Remember they must be fever free for 24 hrs without medicine. The flu is going around pretty thick and we are trying our best to keep everyone in the classroom healthy! :) Some fun things to do at home: *Make a meal together *Make puppets out of paper bags or socks and act out a fun activity. *Talk about all the people you love and why you love them. *Look for things that are red! Dates to remember! Feb 2: Early out 11:30 ( No PM Class) Feb 6: PTO meeting at 6 in OGS conf. room Feb 14: Late Start-9am Valentines Day Party! Feb 19: No School- Presidents Day!
