We have been very busy the past couple of weeks learning about Christmas as well as celebrating it! The children have been busy creating different Christmas crafts, trying out different cookies, singing Christmas songs, and reading several different christmas stories. Our Elf Buddy has been very busy flying back and forth from our classroom to the North Pole reporting about how the day went, he even brought us back special seeds from Santa that grew into candy canes! We can't wait to see what Buddy has in store for us the last two days before Christmas Break starts. :) Last week we got a visit from Santa himself! We got to tell him what we wanted for Christmas and took our picture with him. He gave us an early Christmas present because we were so good this year. :) We had our classroom Christmas party on Thursday. The children got to wear their Pajamas to school and we watched Charlie Brown Christmas. They got to eat special christmas snacks too. On Monday we are going to have a special Christmas day with the CARE class, I'm so excited to see the kids reaction when they find out that the Grinch was in the classroom :) I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Break and get to enjoy some quality family time!

We had a great first week of December starting our talks of Christmas! The week started off with our class Elf (Buddy) arriving from the North Pole! Santa sent him to keep an eye on us and report back every night. He brought us a special snack and decorated our classroom with a christmas tree, lights, and decorations hanging from the ceiling. The children love arriving to school everyday looking for where Buddy is going to be. :) We have also been keeping a close eye on our flowers we planted a few weeks ago. They are getting bigger everyday! We can't wait to see them bloom. Have a great week!
